I haven't talked before but Amid Evil was harder? I found DUSK harder. I beat Amid Evil on EVIL and barely died while DUSK I died many times
I loved both games don't get me wrong, but I found Amid Evil kind of easy

this is a big one since dusk is literally not designed around the speed you can get in that game
you can tell since most promotional vids of dusk (including from the devs themselves) don’t involve them bunnyhopping, and there are zero projectiles you can’t outrun by bunnyhopping alone
also, even if you go into both dusk and AE not knowing the secrets, if you actively hunt for them dusk becomes a much easier game than AE, imo
