Yesterday Labor Day morning I added the Ancient Alphas of Amid Evil on my Steam page and played once on each of them! The first one was just the difficulty select stage and that's it! Two of them were identical visually with one level that was not part of the final game, the weapons fired differently compared to the final version, and the only difference I remembered in the mostly identical Alphas is that the older one elevator sound effects was absolutely copied from Quake 1's elevator sound effects where as the recent one had the elevator sound effects that made it final cut of the game! Also in those two alphas the weapons in the background of the map looked all the same in the form of triangles except each of them were different colors!

So, is the expansion gonna be a free update or paid DLC?
