I think it's pretty interesting to see the stark contrast between Amid Evil and DUSK, because almost nothing is explained in detail in DUSK, but everything has an backstory in Amid Evil, even the individual enemy types.
Having everything available already from the start takes away from experience of discovery. It would be better if each entry appeared after defeating the enemy type.
I hope that's something you guys could throw in an update later on.

I am happy to report it runs well on Medium settings at 100+ FPS. High and Epic profiles slow down to 30fps and 8fps respectively -- hopefully the performance gap can be bridged with the native version :3

apologies if this is a dumb noob question but ive been trying to get the game to run and its basically showing as if it was at 0.01 fps while the audio is fine and i can move the cursor, just not see it (since the game looks but doesnt sound frozen)
anyone have any idea whats causing that?
if i keep alt tabbing on and off the game's screen works for about a second before basically freezing again
i've read up the chat, same issue cyph00n was having, but opening cmd and loading the game with -dx12 seems to work so far

iirc some of his core ideas were first of all having completely different episodes, and unique enemy types in each episode, but it proved to be too ambitious at the time

okay i have a bug conspiracy theory, because I don't think I can prove this exists
There's either a bug that causes enemies to disappear, or enemies to not count towards your kill count for that level
because I have all the enemies memorized, I was positive they were all dead, but it still showed 91/92 at the end of the level. I spent the next 20 minutes searching for this one guy and couldn't find them anywhere, so they either disappeared/fell out of the level or didn't count for some reason
have had it happen a few times now, i even check the weird places they sometimes get into like stuck under stuff or rocks or underwater, nowhere to be found
if any QA people have tips on how I could find a way to reproduce this that would be neato
