So V-Sync limits the framerate to fixed 60 despite my monitor going higher (with the latest freesync nvidia update, gsync works on every FS monitor) I select it with a slider but nothing happens unless i remove V-Sync. (Then GSync/FreeSync does not work) IMO not a problem for me, but just saying

I figured out to circle STRAFE to avoid getting splooged on top of but he takes a ton of damage without soul mode...
Really, brilliant. Everything. E2 has been good.
I've also been playing it at a little slower pace but still frentic and it's upped my enjoyment of it, to be a little more calculated.

Whole episode is a beaut, it's got to the point where I can't even think what Ep 7 will be like, every episode has been an improvement on the last except for mebbe I wasn't keen on some of Solar Solstice though Tower of Light is godly
I finished all of the first level on Ep 6 on Evil without dying and was ready to complain about things being too easy then I got my ass kicked so many times throughout the rest of the episode

One thing i still don't really like is the hub area and how it doesn't properly show you where to go next. The episodes might be open (or closed) in the final game, but it could get a reword where the areas by the portal gates slowly look like the episode you are going in. It looks too similar, or exactly the same as Episode 3. Or just put Episode X when going in, IDK. And one thing i haven't noticed before is that every episode has its own UI, which is super neat, even the hub area. Niceru

I mean they aren't THAT hind to find, but some colour leading into them would go a long way, plus it could just say the number of the episode. Playing them in any other is obviously a great thing, but people might want to complete them in the proper canon order first. What i was trying to say is that some flavour could be added near the portals and the path that leads into them from the actual episode. Quake 1 did that and it worked really well

Just tackling The Arcane Expanse about now on Warrior Mode (cuz i thought it would be more fun, and it is imo), on the third level and it took me more than usual on the second. Like each episode is 1 hour + the boss for me, never been under. The forges were really good, too. But hell, the start of the third level does not mess, it goes straight into full evil with those two knights with horses

I wish there were other game modes, wishful thinking tho. Like some RPG styled characters and perma-perks like in HeXen, you know, Warrior, Mage or Something, and Each class has only certain weapons and you can't get the others. Everything else would be the same sans perks. Warrior has the Axe, Sabre, Mace, Mage has the Azure Staff, Trident, Celestial Claw and both have the BFG voidmaker, gamemodes like these would increase the replayability a ton. Could be made in the DLC or something. Or just a wacky gamemode where you have Soulmode full time, but only 1 or 10 HP. But hey, i am getting ahead of myself now. This is obviously more Heretic than HeXen

I remember when I first got this game when Ep 1-3 I think were first released, I was worried about repetition of the boss battles and how basic the first fight is, but obviously after Episodes 1-6 fuck am I impressed with the challenge and creativity these bosses offer, especially in a first person shooter game
