the DLC was decent

base game was quite a bit better but it was mostly in line with it

too easy (on hard), but so was the base game. visuals and levels were good but often too dark (deliberate?). one area was so dark i jumped into an inescapable room and had to ++ brightness in several spots. end boss challenging but needed more work - chaotic, either too easy or too hard in parts and confusing to make sense of. its been a few years since the base game but the weapons while feeling great, felt weaker than i remembered (espec voltride?) probably tougher enemies combined with what felt like scarcer ammo. gauntlets were fun, shield guards were cheesy. platforming was borderline, but only because of how weak the character's jump is compared to other shooters. overall good effort

calculating statistics for AE is quite problematic because there are no numbers in the game that indicate what damage do weapons deal or which enemy has how many health and etc. i asked @civic ocean for help with that because he actually found how to do it, but he only finished stats for the Staff, so currently all stats are TBA until Perci shows up again or i do the research based on his provided info.
