I swear to god it might be the best shooter I've ever played

I think the enemy design is great

It's good gameplay I just prefer slightly more active gameplay. for example there's no real benefit to switching up your weapons constantly, in fact that slows down your fire rate and the enemies are pretty tanky.

I'd say it's better than dusk though.

Dusk has a lot more weapons but the weapons are much less deep, there's only really the crossbow and kinda the sword that's interesting in dusk.

I prefer deeper weapons like amid evil's, overcharging an enemy with the trident for explosive chain lightning, planet jumping, hitting multiple enemies with the sword by attacking with just the edge.

Like the intended experience is the player finds the flight powerup secret, then keeps going through the level until they find the full health secret, then go back to get the flight powerup, then get the full health, then keep going in the level to raise the water and open the shortcut, so that the shortcut/water raise doesn't happen until after they've gotten the full health?

on the expansion you can get stuck if you pick the fly powerup and go upwards and then some debris of a thing falls down and then you go back down before advancing enough in those rooms and you lose the powerup and cant reach it again bc its below the debris
