The plight of making games. During my project last year in uni I made a small level with a teleportation mechanic, level was FINE TUNED as I could make it, except for one spot I knew about, that I could not change without having to change other placements, it was in a corner so who was gonna go there?

I actually have a theory that The Axe is also Evil, and perhaps from the moment you enter the starting area of BL, you are in a dimension of darkness like in the end of the base game.
The swords creating a path is remarkably similar to the path creation by Evil in the last chapter.
Also, Demons guard the mountain, and The Axe is very agressive

Though, if just anyone could go pick up The Axe, it wouldn't be a very accurate title of Champion so it makes sense it's so spicy about everything

Enemies made of fire don't take damage from Celstial Claw suns, lighting staff doesn't work against enemies made of lightning, so I do think the inverse is true

its a nice theory, although i believe the thing with the Axe being aggressive and looking evil is more simple:
its a sentient being and it hates evil with a capital H. its a common knowledge that everything evil is more accessible and easier to follow, but with bad consequences, while everything good is the opposite of all that. if a challenger has pure heart and good intentions, they will complete the trials of the Black Labyrinth and they will receive its treasure, which means that the "guardian" of the Axe can go full berserk on anyone without feeling sorry for only those who want to prevail upon evil are strong enough to become the Champion.

celestial claw feels like the least useful weapon, at least on evil

it's not useless but i mostly find myself using it just to save green and blue mana

in the main campaign i mostly used it against the protectors because they have a huge vulnerability to it

the one time i found it really useful in BL was when a bunch of enemies were funneled into a small place like idiots so they were all hit with explosions

but otherwise theres rarely a reason to use it over green or blue mana weapons
at least not on evil because there it 1-shots/2-shots less stuff and enemies move faster

is there any way I can find the sound effects for AE? I've gotten some from just people posting the ogg files here, but I doubt this channel has all of them (don't need all, just a good amount) and I've looked at the local files from steam and there isn't a folder there for sounds
