Yeah I had to do it 3 times before the achievement pops up, luckily the game autosaves in areas before you pick them up so you can just reload each autosave and do it in random orders until the achievement pops up

So, with Sacred Path I still got the achievement for beating it and it does say I completed it back in the hub area. Even though I had to quit the game using level select basically. But I tried beating The Forges twice, restarting in between, and it didn't work either time. The portal just sent me off a cliff to my death.

I think the scale of power is just obscenely different.
We can see an aproximation of post-nyar dude with Gavin or whatever the boss's name is in the end of DUSK.
While extremely fast, duskdude is bound by mostly normal guns, meanwhile The Champion regulalrly deals a basic attack that would slice a mortal into goop. Meanwhile Dude can shoot him, but Champion has armor so that doesn't even matter
