I have unfortunately found out that since I opened up my desktop to put a new SSD in that it now does not detect my 3070 so it switched to AMD’s integrated memory on my cpu so that was the stem of the issue. i would kindly disagree because fists and the Axe have different approaches - Gauntlets are fast and lock on enemies, but deal less damage, while the Axe is slower, but it damages several enemies in front of it, pulls them and stuns for a second and some foes have a weakness against it, making it useful even in the final episode.
i'd say fists feel better to use, but not are, and i think i can see why for a couple of reasons:
- sound design
- speed
- scarce ammo for all weapons
overall, both are great and fit well with their intended parts of the game

Somehow managed to beat it first try on hard, but it was close. That 200 orb heal came in at the perfect time. I was at 26 health when it spawned in.
