The game runs like garbage on my pc despite having a decent setup (3060ti, 3700x, quest 2), tried running it at 90 fps and it's constantly sitting at like 45fps.
I tried setting shadows to low and it seems to have improved performance a bit, but it's still really bad

getting some weird performance in AmidEvilVR , i have lots of headroom but steamvr graph shows red lines and its really stuttery, it happened right at the start of the vaults of midnight, using a 4080 and index at 80hz, low to epic settings its the same stuttering . got a screenshot of the graph but cant seem to upload it here

okay so i just found a really weird bug on the VR version
well not weird, i think i understand what it is, but it is kinda interesting
if you use the voltride, and as you’re shooting, switch to the axe and continue to hold trigger, the game just swings the axe like you were playing the game on the non-vr version
it even seems to work with the soul boosted version, it makes the constant whooshing noises like on pc
was trying to take a clip to show my friend the weapons in vr and the thing happened
honestly really cool seeing some remnant from the original game on a fundamentally different system
this may actually work for the other swung weapons.
also it seems to pull enemies to you like it does in the original game, kinda wish you could do that in vr.
