Thanks, I start with the strangest thing, I might be wrong, but I noticed that some times it seems that the "gravity" increases, in the sense that the character doesn't jump as high as before and also the jump platforms don't allow high jumps anymore. I noticed this because in one level I could no longer move forward, then I restarted the game and the problem was gone. Maybe it occurs when you load a save many times.

Then there is a level where every time I load a save, I start from crouching, tonight I check the number.
The saves in E3M7 are broken from the moment you change the axes of the world, loading the save puts you in a totally different place.
Then there are some Italian translation errors or oversights, but I can take screenshots later to be more specific.

I think the game font is without the accented letters, so in some places they have been replaced with another font, but in at least one case they are missing completely.

Lastly, the GOG version is missing an achievement, "Frag your Friends - Open Duskworld," but I don't understand why, because in theory there is Duskworld on GOG as well. Would it be possible to add it?

the e3m7 save is intentional, the crouching level is e3m1, and the gravity bug is extremely rare to happen

This is one of my favorite areas in the game. After the biggest arena fight in the entire game you get ready to face Jakob. You enter not into his arena, but rather an open area surrounded by trees. I wonder what this place is, maybe it was once important to Jakob before he became whatever he is now. The music is perfect for the atmosphere, and I’ve heard that it was actually composed by David instead of Hulshult. It’s a very brief moment but one I always appreciate.

i’ve stayed away from the public perception a lot as to keep my opinions of the game my own, but what’s the general consensus on the latter parts of the game? i was absolutely mesmerized by neobabel and the infernal machine and most of episode 2. the atmosphere on those particular levels are genuinely so inspiring. everything up to blasphemy was amazing. but once the game starts to reach it’s ending segments, it became super disappointing to me considering how spectacular the middle parts of the game were. i’m simply curious what others peoples opinions on this is. i’m sure it’ll grow on me anyways

i think i was expecting more that was different, but it is fair that the last few levels are throwing everything from the earlier parts of the game at you so you can use all of the things you’ve learned in one place. i think my biggest grudge was the all the reused level stuff, i was not a big fan of that. but i found the homecoming gravity thing weird and interesting. i definitely agree with toby in saying that some of them do stand out a lot, but i was expecting those grand setpieces for the ending parts. i didn’t think it was bad at all i should clarify!!! i am thankful for the dusk experience

Nah, Xen is a massive change in gameplay and setting to the rest of the game, it deserves the criticism

The second half of Episode 3 is less being super creative and more about bringing back things you saw before, nailing the point that you're reaching the end. It's more about pacing

Which is why Homecoming and As Above So Below are composed of assets and areas you saw before, but remixed in a way that they're different

The Dweller in Darkness is also pretty bare, but it's supposed to be a massive arena where you kill hundreds of enemies, so it fits

that's kind of the point though
the ending was effectively trying to do exactly what jakob said at the homecoming; "look at all we've done together". it's a reflection of the entire journey that led up to this point, the big set pieces came when they needed to happen, if the entire last half of the episode was just big set piece after big set piece it would have gotten stale, and honestly, wouldn't have the type of game that dusk is.
and like others have pointed out, having the set pieces come prior to that point hammers in the idea that those last few levels were hammering in.
plus, not doing what's expected of it is kinda dusk's whole thing, it doesn't always conform to what people think it's gonna be.
i can understand your point, but ultimately it's for the better that the game ended the way it did.

im not using gyro aim in docked mode but in handheld it feels so good to use gyro

think its a case of how in handheld the gyro can be done relative to the position of the Switch and its screen making it much more intuitive meanwhile docked you can exactly move a monitor or TV with a control for a 1:1 movement with gyro

You'll need to look into bootcamp for the SDK, as we don't publish (nor have we made) any Mac builds of it currently

Alternatively you can try Wine if you're on a Mac capable of using it
