It's been a while since I first played it, but I wanna say a first playthrough going straight through it is gonna be around 7-8 hours. But boomer shooters are inherently replayable, so you can get more mileage out of it through hunting for secrets and going for level awards

the final boss is boring with easy to avoid attacks, shooting the cracks in the sky is a weird mechanic in the boss fight, how can a pistol break a crack in the skybox but can’t do the same for a stone crack? You’d never really expect that you can interact with the skybox by shooting it.

Jakob is the real final boss. Nyarlathotep's more of a grand sendoff than a challenging fight.

The presentation easily makes up for the fight itself being mediocre imo.

It's a bit difficult to say because I sort of have joint custody of the world of Dusk, since the lore is as much Dave's creation as mine, and others like Jacob (comic artist) have been contributing to it as well

I think I did imply at some point that Squirrel Stapler is set in the Dusk universe but that was kind of a throwaway "yeah haha sure" thing
