If you enjoyed Ultrakill, you might not necessarily enjoy Dusk, and the same goes vice versa. However, if you enjoy a lot of FPS games and more specifically retro ones, then I'd say Dusk is a necessity, and definitely worth your time.

I just noticed that Gloomwood's demo has different image scaling than Dusk.
If my target resolution is lower than my display's, Gloomwood demo actually scales the image with the method my GPU is set to but Dusk always uses interploated scaling.

This kind of bothers me because I'm put off by the HUD resolution not matching the game resolution when I use pixelization filter.
