I found Jacob a lot easier than V2. He doesn't move much vertically, so aiming at him with the hunting rifle messes him up a lot, and you have so much Mortar ammo he's never gonna dodge it.

nah. Some of the areas are to complex. How would you port aerowalk without it being small and enclosed? You would have to find a new way to make more complex arena fps style maps by either having multiple open areas that are only connect with tunnels or walkwaysfrom each other

Alright, so I just came up with this tangentially Dusk-related idea while at my job cleaning toilets at a shopping centre, and I'd figure I'd try and gauge a general impression from here first.
Jakob, but as a modded FNF rival that sings DUSK tracks.
So far, the tracks I think would work best are "Twin Terrors", "Erebus Reaction" (shortened to about half the length) and "Keepers of the Gate"
Though I am open to suggestions for alternatives.
Other things I brainstormed for this idea:
-> Since a lot of modded FNF characters are coming out with unique gimmicks, I figured it wouldn't hurt to give Jakob one.
Specifically, the ability to deplete the player's "health" while singing the second and third song, to mirror the "can perform typically player-exclusive actions" nature of his boss battle in DUSK.
-> As for his voice?
Nothing less than 9-string riffs.
(And yes, part of the reason why I'm asking this here is to ensure whether Mr. DUSK Dev Szymanski would be OK for something like this to go ahead)

Unless your keyboard is using a custom driver, generic USB keyboards, no matter the type, are limited in the same way
Because the way the generic usb keyboard driver works
There are special byte allocations for the modifier keys sent with every packet
So NOT using the modifiers means you are further limited in what you can press

That looks barely doable but doable. And also they're not, the current single segment speedrun WR squeezes past a horror in that exact situation.
here's the trick that got me through the Cutty Mines: if you diagonal run and crouch-slide, you actually shove most enemies aside. Some will resist and if you slow down too much you can't get past, but it's gotten me through a lot of bad spots since then.

I usually use the riveter on them but I have a super hard time getting around their attacks

they have 700 HP
which means a point blank Super Shotgun Blast will pretty much nearly cripple them and make them die in a few Pistol shots
alternatively, each Dual Shotgun blast deals about 150 per shot, which means if you main those, it takes about 5 shots
and yeah Riveter is 2HKO
but yeah their attacks
you CAN reflect with perfectly timed Sickle strikes
but it's a way tighter window than say, ULTRAKILL's parries
otherwise though
stick to walls
their projectiles will hit the walls before you most of the time
just make sure you don't get cornered
