Thunderbolts* was fun, action packed movie with surprising cast chemistry, an amazing performance by Lewis Pullman. I want to point out the theme of redemption, it gave the movie heart not just action. Also some solid jokes that actually landed. Easily a top 5 MCU movie.

captain america is in the lowest tier of marvel stuff...not the absolute worst, but maybe the pinnacle of uninspired/phone-it-in....genuinely nothing intriguing about it at all...felt like chatgpt could have done a better job writing this
thunderbolts...so this was like a marvel version of 'the boys' but toned down...i thought it mostly worked (||only thing that stood out as not working was taskmaster death, which just felt all around handled very weirdly||), i'd put it in the tier 2 of marvel stuff
it was funny and genuinely emotional at times, and the deeper stuff was nice to see, esp after watching brave new world
sad that both movies had the same budget and captain america made more money, but i guess thats the power of branding
