finished loki 2ep1 and i'm sad....they butchered the visuals...i thought i downloaded the wrong thing, so i tried another two versions/formats and it was still grainy as fuck/blurry/washed out, went on reddit and apparently this just the way it is, they switched cameras from s1 and added more grain filter, lots of other comments about it....it looks so much worse than s1, its on par with netflix marvel shows before 2017/18ish, distracting graininess
its just sad b/c gotg3 was like a 9/10 visually and this is like 3/10...this is prob coming off nitpicky but for me the immersive/vibrant visuals add so much to marvel stuff for me

finished loki, so now i've seen it all/caught up except the marvels
||another bittersweet ending....altho fitting and well done....didnt hit as hard as gotg, but still powerful....you can knock marvel movies/tv for a lot of stuff but the ability to create these long character arcs over the span of more than a decade is unmatched....felt rewarding to experienced the entire ride for loki in the past 6 months before watching this, its unfortunate that parts of it were embedded in some bad movies, but the whole is greater than the sum of its parts||
||i can actually understand the visual choices for this season having seen the whole thing, the more gritty/grainy/dark feel actually fit that final scene of loki climbing and sitting on his throne really well, that was the pivotal scene of the series and of loki's entire story and honestly it looked great, it all came together, it didnt look clean, but it's not really supposed to||
its funny that both gotg3 and loki s2 both have 82% on RT
way underrated on there....they def aren't perfect, but they are overall excellent
||loki s2 starts slow in ep1-3, thought it was pretty meh, then from the moment that victor timely gets spaghetti'd for the first time it actually gets going, and then the finale was great from start to finish||

like it would just be considered an alternate timeline not part of the sacred timeline
which would have been weird/dumb seeing as that was some of the best marvel stuff made
