microsoft itself is booming, stock up 200%+ in the last five years and in prime position to capitalize on AI revolution, meanwhile xbox itself is stagnating at best, it wouldn't be surprising if they drop the xbox branding at some point soon

i've very much enjoyed xbox, but the broader gaming culture basically hates it and jumps on every opportunity to trash them, a mob mentality still tied to the legacy of the disastrous xbox one announcement (ideas that were ahead of their time and not actually anti-consumer as they were perceived to be), feels like people are unable to take in new information regarding xbox at this point, as even a fabulous deal like gamepass has been underappreciated
meanwhile every bad thing with sony is greeted with hugs and head pats, i dont see that changing anytime soon

"these elden ring dlc bosses are overtuned" no, it's simple: first you dodge the lunge, then wait a beat, then dodge the second lunge, the floor slam, the shockwave from the floor slam, & the two spinning breath attacks. then you get 1 hit in and repeat. also watch for lightning

parry window is huge

Sekiro had the biggest initial learning curve for me but ended up being the easiest in the mid-late game

I think once you fight Genichiro then it kinda clicks

Yeah it's fundamentally the same idea of getting stonewalled by a boss and then going to explore for a while until you get the resources to go back and beat it, but it's noticeably harder and the bosses are 10x more aggressive

I've heard it's a lot easier if you take the time to collect the in game item that makes you stronger but I haven't found them all yet

You should try and focus on money making the first few rounds. Generally I try not to spend any money in the first ante unless something really good comes up
