Can someone guide me on how to install mods

You need to make your server type fabric and put your mods in the mods folder and every player should then get those mods themselves

i did that and it wouldnt let me turn the server one do i need to launch minecraft with fabric?

🤖 How do I add mods to my server?

Installing mods is a similar process as installing plugins with an extra step:

1. Login and activate the server you wish to add mods to
2. Change the server's type to Fabric or SpongeForge
3. Go to the File Manager tab, there should now be a new mods folder that was automatically made after changing the server type
4. Click the upload icon and upload your mod.
5. Restart your server

Note: Fabric and Forge mods are not cross-compatible, they will not work if the server type does not match the mod type

And yes, if you're installing serverside mods, you will need them on your client too

Clientside - mods like minimap, optifine etc, they change only your client, they dont need to be installed on the server
Serverside - mods like biomes o plenty, pixelmon etc, they change the world, they need to be installed on the server and the clients of players

📃 How do I download my logs?

You view and download your logs through the File Manager on your server dashboard. Enter into the logs folder, scroll to the bottom of the folder, and select the file name latest.log and then hit the Download button.

Once you have your log file downloaded, upload the contents of the file to the site linked below and click Save.

After that, send the link of the website to the channel you want to send your logs to.

Make sure the version youre uploading matches the version of the server

If the server is on another version then that's probably the cause, Im not sure if MH offers other server versions for fabric but that would be my suggestion

You can try but theyre unlikely to work I think, unless Im completely wrong and someone else may have a solution

Do win+r on your keyboard and type %appdata% open your .minecraft folder and drag the amw-plushies.jar from your downloads folder into the "mods" folder created by fabric and run mc with fabric @visual girder

If you still can't do it just use the modrinth app it's very user friendly

Try searching for "mods" with the search feature in the top right of explorer

If you're using modrinth, boot from modrinth, if you're doing what I've just told you boot from minecraft
