i keep setting this up but it resets every time.

Then you dont edit the velocity.toml to add servers. On the Minehut panel for each server, there should be a text that says proxy on the cards for each server with a pencil icon next to it. Click on that and then select the proxy server in the dropdown.

Make sure the servers you want to add to the proxy also have a plan as well

thats usually an issue with a plugin on the server not being compatible with whatever version you are using

Also how are you paying 50 dollars for this and a proxy? I have the exact same configuration and it should be under $20 worth of credits. Or did you just mean you bought the 50 dollar credit package

For the proxy, you should just use a 400 credit custom plan with 1gb ram and 24/7. When the proxy has 24/7, all servers you add to it are automatically 24/7 as well. Thats what I do. My configuration is

Proxy: 1gb 24/7 400 credits
Hub: 2gb Standard 600 credits
Dev Server: 2gb Standard 600 credits
Gamemode Server: 6gb Pro 1800 Credits

For a total of 3400 credits

You can run a proxy on any paid plan. Custom plans are considered a paid plan. So all you need to do is go to the custom plans page and configure it to be 1gb 24/7 which will only charge you 400 credits. And then you change the server type to velocity afterwards.

But even with that extra 200 credits you spent on the proxy, that is still under $20. Since you already bought the plan, you won't be able to downgrade it without waiting for the current one to expire. Or if you really want, you can make a ticket and say you bought the wrong plan and they can give you a prorated refund
