gui ads are your passive/automated ads, I believe that since people botting their /ad wasn't allowed, minehut won't actively add a way to do that

while I agree that the manual ad setup isnt great, the tediousness of it is the only thing that stops chat from being completely flooded with ads

If you aren't able to use 500 ads in a month, which only really takes like 30 minutes per day, I suggest just getting a lower rank. The higher ones are for people who have the time and resources to use that much.

I haven't done many recently but when I did, I averaged around 20 per day. I would just do /mh to go to the lobby, run the ad, click on my own ad to join back to the server. and then greet any new players and work on any updates while waiting for the next one. ad cooldown is 2 minutes so using up 500 ads takes up around 30 minutes per day. and if you aren't able to spend that much, just get a lower rank.

in any case, while I do agree that the ads really should be reworked, just making them automatic would flood the chat more than it already is
instead of just being peak hours that are ad spam, it would be all hours
