#Minehut blocking packets
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Minehut only allows resource packs to from from a selected list of domains. If you scroll to the bottom of the external server doc, you should see that list there.
Using mcpacks
The issue is not the domain it's the fact the player is being blocked from receiving the pack
I assume the issue is with how you're forwarding the user, as the pack can be sent through a backend server though not the frontend aka Velocity
This is pretty annoying for users as I have to setup a seperate lobby which they always first join as I'm running a network
Is this the right place to report this?
Do you know if you have packs set to enable or prompt for the IP you are joining with? Also in the past, I have seen some users who were using a valid domain in sending the pack but wasn't working but then switched to a different plugin to send the pack and then it worked for them.
The plugin truly shouldn't be the issue at hand, though I am currently using ForceResourcePacks, if you have any other I could test with please do send it The packs are enabled and again it works if I send the pack directly from the backend.
I usually always send packs through the backend server even when using a proxy. And that is what I've seen most other servers do as well. So never tried with a proxy before. If you truely believe its an issue on Minehut's end since its working fine through the backend server but not the proxy side, you could make a report in #1006335650917793882.
Again I am running a network it is highly impractical to send the pack through the backend, and I do believe it is an issue. I'll write my report there
do you mind privately sending me your config for ForceResourcePacks and any details?
and maybe try it again just to check if it's still an issue
