#Minehut /msg getting out of hand

Hi,

I’m a dev on a small/medium sized server that runs on our own hosting on minehut proxy.

Basically, we get report after report of muted players sending minehut messages to other players with rude or insulting messages.

The problem is, we have no way to moderate this at all, we can intercept or read these messages, we can stop the player from sending them, the only thing we can do is ban the player.

At the very least, we wanted to be able to read minehut messages sent on our server, but we can’t work out how to do that, as minehut handled the command before it comes to our server, meaning we can’t intercept it.

Has anyone else had this problem, have they found a way to resolve it?

you can just tell your players to /ignore them. this is also a minehut command. and then report the users to minehut and they'll get punished on minehut entirely.

We moderate those things as well, just send in a report and support will deal with it.

the more you report, the more of those people that can be removed from Minehut. If you report during work hours on a weekday, the users will get punished within a few hours.

Reports shouldn't take too long. The only info you should need is the name of the user and at what time it took place. You can also include multiple users in the same report.
