Not sure if this is the cause but it might be. You’re not using local variables. Ie: {_example}. So all the damage data from the previous damage event is saved every time which could contribute to it increasing each time.
here you are squaring the damage. not sure if that is on purpose

i just realized i mightve explained it wrongly
its like a sword with 1 dmg does 2 dmg and a sword with 6 dmg does 24
