Why does my MOTD not save?

It shows this
" Minehut.com The Server Hosting Network 1565 servers running." (even after restart)

MOTDs and icons take a while to cache, so it won't update instantly ,-,

and what if it doesnt load for like 3 days like it did for me?

to edit the motd shown on the minecraft server list, change it in server.properties. the field on the panel is to change the in game MOTD shown in the gui server list

I'm trying to add voting to my server using MinecraftServers.org .
I am not sure where i can find both of these options tho

You would need to have an external server and the external plan to do that kind of thing. iirc, i can't recall a way to do it with a minehut server.

Pretty sure you don't need an external server for votifier

Minehut offers ports for that
