External Plan
The External plan allows you to host a single server, or a server network (using Velocity or Waterfall) outside of Minehut, and connect it to the Minehut proxies, which has some benefits like being displayed in the Minehut server list, and being able to advertise in the Minehut lobby. This plan is primarily for experienced users as you are hosting your own server, and Minehut support has a limited capability of helping you through the setup and maintenance.
While the External plan counts towards removing the daily 4 hour uptime limit, it is not the correct plan if you still intend to use Minehut's servers. If you purchased this plan as a mistake, simply change the plan to something else and you will be refunded for the remainder of the time.
so what do i do?
check to make sure you did everything correctly
i did
also if it says the server is offline you probably filled in the wrong IP or something
let me try this and ill get back to you thank you

Make sure hide-online-players is set to false in the server.properties file
Make sure enable-status is set to true in the server.properties file
Make sure sample-count is set to at least 1 in the spigot.yml file
Make sure the IP address on the Minehut dashboard is a numerical IP and not a domain name, and ensure that the DNS Record Type is set to Port
Try removing any plugins that change the MOTD or server list, on both your server and proxy
Ensure your firewall is accepting TCP and ICMP from external addresses

@tropic turtle
Follow this guide to the best of your ability if you're still encountering issues please send:
If you're running a standalone-paper server send: server.properties and config/paper-global.yml
If you're running a velocity server send: velocity.toml
If you're running a waterfall server send: config.yml
Please also send your startup flags and a SS of your MH External Server Settings.
and would the ip be
the numbers
or the actual server ip
ok
and am using SRV
should i use port instead
and also
i havent set up TCP
is it requiered
what's your MH server name?
Pyhtonmc
Did you mean: PythonMC?
just checking since you deleted and redid your message 3 times
but it still has a misspelling
no
its spelled that way
because i miss spelled it when i made the name
and now the other names are taken
so its Pyhtonmc
alright I'll check it out as soon as I can, but in the meantime I'd suggest double checking the setup guide and the steps posted here: #1295417512631996497 message
you shouldn't be using an SRV record for an IP address on the panel, and in most cases Port is the one you want to use unless your host specifically tells you it's an SRV domain
i bought a custom domain
and then bought bloom host
the custom domain was play.pythonmc.net
and the port was 25565
but then i had to connect bedrock players
so then the port was 19132
so idk what port i should use
there exists a guide at the bottom of the guide linked here on how to add a custom domain
can you follow the steps listed here first? just so I can make sure there aren't any glaring issues
put the numerical ip for now
your server doesn't have proxy protocol enabled, you need to read the guide and follow the steps exactly as outlined
you'll need to restart the server after changing it
now you need to make sure your CLI flags are added correctly and that your online mode / offline mode setting is setup properly
make sure you read my full message ;p
the startup flags
please just follow this message
