A spider does 4 hearts with iron armor on my server, and fall damage seems to be increased, the server is also on hard mode. Is this normal?

It is not a plugin that will help you. You have to change the server settings.

Hard difficulty is hard difficulty
Change the difficulty to something else if you want mobs to do less damage :P
