incompatible client

Hi! So me and my friend have been playing on the server all day. We fiddled around with op but that was just normal “keep inventory” and “set world spawn” stuff

We took a break for a couple hours and now every time we try to /join it takes us back to the lobby and says

“Incompatible client! Please use 1.20.6”

Do a direct join with the server ip maybe?

Like add it to your server list

Hell yeah it worked!!! No idea why that worked since it’s the same IP as the other sever but wooo!! Thank you stranger!

Ummm new problem got into my world and all my chest are empty and all my item phrases are empty????

IKR I hopped on like “yeah my server!… hey why r my item frames all empty… hey my chests… hey all my farm chests…. Why can’t I take books out of the bookcase???” Honestly I give up if anyone has answers thatd be amazing, my friends house wasn’t effected but my area is in the spawn chunks so maybe they reset???

Did you check the server settings on the site? Maybe it has something to do with spawn protection idk

Should be under advanced settings
