I started a server for me and my friend, but we wanted command blocks, so i enabled it in server properties, but after restarting, if i try to join, i get the error: java.lang.illegalstateexception: the backend server is in a bad state.
my server is 1.20.6.

For future reference, Normally, messing with the server properties in an incorrect way can cause that error. I recommend going back to server properties and setting it back to the way it was before.
Then go to app.minehut.com > My servers > manage/activate > settings > scroll down until you see "game settings" > right inbetween "Pvp" and "Nether world" is the setting to enable command blocks
