We own the network WhirlMC and we wanted to add a external server but a server has the name WhirlMC. We checked and its marked for deletion. We are wondering if there is any way to know when it will be deleted. And if theres anyway to speed up the deletion process.

What are server name reservations?

Recently, Minehut announced that we would be deleting abandoned servers out of our systems (read more on our FAQ about abandoned server deletions here. Many of those servers have really cool and interesting names that our community members would like to use, so we are going to release those abandoned server’s names to the public.

To prevent members abusing and hogging hundreds of the best names for themselves, we are introducing a server name reservation system that will give everyone the best chance to get the names that they are interested in using. Server name reservations are handled on a first-come, first-serve basis, and there is not benefit to users who have paid servers or ranks.
