every console screenshot showed a denied command for creative mode, so they didn't have op

They're most likely taking advantage of a backdoor in a plugin or an exploit in a plugin, it should be impossible for them to gain access to console without you giving them access to it

yea, its probably best to at least reinstall all your plugins, and make sure they all have reputable authors

on their official pages
