because we've talked about this a million time internally

it was made policy to keep stuff forever a long time ago

but now we have tons of old data so it will eventually happen

not enough server slots: you can reset it
if you made one by accident: you can reset it

that's only just you wanting to not see an empty server, it's not a big enough reason to change the whole system, but they will still do it

they can't, they may be able to rename them in special cases though.

Oh alright, I feel like they should allow that if given permission from players themselves, maybe keep the data for sometime in case they accidentally deleted it or a hacker deleted it. If they don’t report that anything like that happened to them then fully delete it.

unfortunately we aren't planning to do anything about this issue soon, but I have a feeling it will happen this year because it will result in cost savings for Minehut.

Such as if you would like I name that is already taken, you can contact support and they will contact the owner of that server to see if they want to give up the name or not, and if they allow it, they will rename one of your servers (you tell them which one to rename) to that name you just grabbed.
