Trying to get addons to work

i downloaded mods from the website's library and added their zip folder to the resource pack section of my server settings. i activated one of them, reset my server, joined it, but the mod was not activated. i tried again many times, i stoped my server, let it go to sleep, and tried other mods, but nothing worked. help would be nice

the resource pack section is for resource packs, mods should go in the mod folder and only work if you have your server type set to one that supports the mods you will be using

i meant resource packs, all of the things i added were from the resource pack menu of modrinth

are you sure you have Server Resource Packs enabled? (On the multiplayer menu, select the server then Edit Server
