What is not working? just check the docs
The Minehut External Servers Docs provides a step-by-step guide on how to connect a Minecraft server to the Minehut network.
i followed that but whenever i join it says this
you didnt setup velocity correctly
I followed the manual though
did you enable ip forwarding?
in what file?
config.yml on your proxy server
my config.yml file doesnt have any ip forwarding option
send the file
thats all thats there
send the entire file
@rough grove yo im having the same issue help me
If thats the only thing in your file its broken where should be other stuff too
config.yml
What else should be in there?
My server is on 1.17.1
The home of Spigot a high performance, no lag customized CraftBukkit Minecraft server API, and BungeeCord, the cloud server proxy.
check the first box
it still says this
how do i fix it?
can you help me fix it?
Are your CLI flags and startup command correct?
yes
Alright can you send it here
-XX:+UseG1GC -XX:+ParallelRefProcEnabled -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=200 -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=30 -XX:G1MaxNewSizePercent=40 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=8M -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:G1HeapWastePercent=5 -XX:G1MixedGCCountTarget=4 -XX:InitiatingHeapOccupancyPercent=15 -XX:G1MixedGCLiveThresholdPercent=90 -XX:G1RSetUpdatingPauseTimePercent=5 -XX:SurvivorRatio=32 -XX:+PerfDisableSharedMem -XX:MaxTenuringThreshold=1 -Dusing.aikars.flags=https://mcflags.emc.gs/ -Daikars.new.flags=true -Dterminal.jline=false -Dterminal.ansi=true -Dlog4j2.formatMsgNoLookups=true -Dminecraft.api.auth.host=https://authserver.mojang.com/ -Dminecraft.api.account.host=https://api.mojang.com/ -Dminecraft.api.services.host=https://api.minecraftservices.com/ -Dminecraft.api.session.host=https://api.minehut.com/mitm/proxy
im using paper
Also there should be a -jar velocity.jar
The people here have been giving you support on velocity
You even have velocity listener configs
Make sure your server is on paper then and after the flags there’s a -jar paper.jar
That is there, right?
Yes
Here’s what you need to do:
Server.properties
Online mode true
Enable status true
Enable secure profile false
On Minehut dashboard
Proxy type to Other
In paper global configs:
proxy-protocol true
make sure velocity, waterfall, etc, is disabled
Save changes after each change and then restart
We’ll look for proxy protocol in the paper config
ok
And set it to true
ty
ok, it still says this
Did everything?
ye
Can I see your settings on the Minehut external server page?
Ok, make sure in your IP you’re not including the port and make sure the port you’re using is open
Also what’s your host?
how do i make sure that my port is open?
I don’t know your host so I’m not sure. There should be a way to view all of your active ports and check their status
im using Wepwawet hosting
I’ll assume they allow this type of proxy as well as startup flag modification
they do yes
Well, proxy protocol is true,right?
yes
this is it right?
in the paper.yml file
Yeah
ok
Does your startup command end in -jar paper.jar
If there’s a setting on your dashboard where you just enter the flags and nothing else hats fine, but if it’s the actual startup command edit it to end with -jar paper.jar
One space away from the flags
it only allows me to edit flags
Ah alright
any other ideas on what to do?
No, I use the paper method to and I told you to do everything I’ve done for my server and my server works
The only thing I can think of is maybe update your paper to the latest version
i cant or it would break my plugins
Here send me your paper.yml and server.properties file and I’ll have a look through
would it be better to dm them to u or is it safe to send here
I don’t recall everything that’s in them so just DM me
ok
This issue is solved now
