Heyyy so this is about my friends server so if you need any logs / crash reports and such I can get them in a bit but not right away! When we update our server to 1.20, it no longer lets us join, as it starts and crashes immediately. Checking the crash logs says exception in server tick loop, we deleted the Json files like ops.json and banned-ips.json and such and it didn't work. The only way we were able to get the server working again was going back to our 1.19 backup. We deleted all the plugins we had in the section as far as I'm aware, but they kept appearing the console on startup after they were deleted. Any advice on how to update the server to 1.20, is really like to get access to the new woods and such :)
