When i updated to 1.20 i even clicked the box for it to NOT create a new backup because i already had one, and it still replaced my backup with a new one.

there's a level name for the world
make sure that's set to the name of the world you want to be in

I got a feeling it just completely reset my old world as my datapacks arent even there, there as in my old worlds name in file explorer doesnt have anything i added
