Me & @wary mortar we tried to connect it and we used a velocity connection for his servers and we also tried to bungee cord connection server but I don’t think bungee cord works with velocity but when I connected it my network it’s been a while but it says something like bassicly can’t connect to server try again later.

just to be clear, bungeecord isn't supported, only waterfall (a fork of it)
but mostly velocity is recommended anyway

and velocity and waterfall are 2 entirely different proxies, so you need to make sure you did the setup for the proxy you're using right.

I think we did because I connected 2 of his servers (bungeecord server/network connector and a paper server) and the paper server he turned on online mode for velocity and we connected the secret

Tibo right now I have a minehut external plan and all I need help with is hooking my bungee cord server to my external plan

unless you have plugins that only support bungee/waterfall and not velocity that you need, velocity is recommended

I want to but the thing is I have plug-ins on the proxy and if I switch to velocity I have to remove the ones that don’t support velocity sadly

If it is plugins on the paper server then velocity is fine but if the plugins you need are on the bungeecord then maybe idk

the thing isn't that waterfall works best, it's just that bungeecord doesn't work at all for this usecase, it doesn't support the session server flags
also why it says this in the guide
Bungeecord, not yet supported due to this issue with Bungeecord (you can leave a comment to request this be resolved)

Not sure, and yes exactly so could I get back to you in 20-30 minutes when I setup waterfall then we can work on the external server on minehut?

I followed the guide it's just the startup flags, and the custom startup flags aren’t supported for bungee-cord so i'm pretty sure I should switch to waterfall.

@wary mortar does your bungeecord have plugins you need or do you mean the plugins that are on the paper servers?

The bungee-cord has plugins like staff-chat geyser and other admin guis etc.

Because paper is separate from the bungeecord which you don’t need if you don’t need plugins or stuff

Like, when I join the actual ip without minehut
its just pending but when I join with minehut it works great

So if I hook up my server domain to minehut ext server I can connect without joining minehut and jus the domain?

if your domain let's say
example.net -> server.minehut.gg (External Server) -> ...
then you can use the custom domain to go through minehut
or alternatively a second proxy to directly join the network
