Not useful at all - also just shows that you'll be hostile to conversate with rather than get constructive feedback from you. Not a good first impression.

Easier for players, not easy for staff at all. They already have a reports system in place that works for them. An ingame /report command also makes it more difficult to send proof.
As juker mentioned above, a /report command would bring in way too many false reports.

You can appeal that mute then, but something to note: people can do that accidentally, and when it turns out their appeals can get accepted for it and then be unmuted, it tells others that they can just do it on purpose and then lie about it being an accident.

Then you can report them.
Atm, they only have 5 mods in total, and their admins + devs are busy with the downtime. They just will not be able to catch everything

a report command could be used, and it would work well.

To prevent spam, you can do some checks to see if it's legit like if the reported player actually sent a message in the last few minutes.

An in-game chatreport command would be a godsend for a server like Minehut. I mean all you just have to look at the lobby chat for 5 minutes to see what I am talking about.

A lot of modern minecraft servers like hypixel already have a chatreport command so it makes no sense why a server owned by a million dollar company can't. I'm sure its not impossible to figure out ways to figure out to filter out false reports if those servers have kept it around for so long lol

The current system in place works perfectly for both players and staff members/support staff.

I do wish it was easier to make one, and that there were more categories (as a lot of the ones I submit dont fall under the categories), but moderation doesn't need fixing
