Server wont start

Hello, I tried starting my server and everytime I try to start it the server instantly goes offline how do I fix this?

There could be endless reasons. Start it, wait for it to stop, then download the logs, copy and paste them into pastebin.com, then send the paste link here

How do I download my logs?

You view and download your logs through the File Manager on your dashboard.

Select the Logs folder and then hit the Download button.

No, this person downgraded their server. @tall idol you can’t downgrade servers as it breaks everything

Update your server to what it was before you changed the version or update to latest. You know this by looking at the fact it says tried to load chunk saved with newer version of minecraft

i changed back the version to the old one and it still does the same thing

yeah honestly I'm not entirely sure how to fix this

maybe restore a backup, make sure the world name doesnt have special characters, or it could genuinely be what pro said

when i changed the server version 3 times it also changed the backup is there any other way to get the old backups?

as a last resort you could contact support. but then they'll probably be able to solve your issue
