bungeecord is not supported, but you can connect external servers that are running waterfall/velocity or paper standalone servers
#announcements message
Why wouldn't you want to run Waterfall / Velocity over Bungeecord?
And I'm confused what you're having trouble with on the guide. Just a few days ago, I followed this guide and was able to get an external server up and running on my end
Could you detail your process and where you're getting messed up at?
For me, I was able to get a Paper to work on 1.19.4
and this isn't a proxy right?
i'm assuming not, but asking to make sure
if that's the case, then what happens when you do try to connect to the server from Minehut?
this happens to me too, but i'm able to connect from the minehut lobby
is there any indication that a player tried connecting in your console?
then what are you putting for the IP and port in "Manage Server" of your external server
for me, using my custom domain on 25565 worked without trouble
and I run a dedicated server on Pebblehost
yeah, i'm guessing you're on shared hosting on your Pebblehost plan tho, do you have a dedicated IP address on that server?
to 25594? yes
if it allotted you 25594, you should be using 25594 b/c 25565 would prolly not work
could i see the complete options you have on the minehut end? you can blur out the IP if you want
actually, probably should b/c that could be considered external advertising
yeah, pretty sure it still works, let me see
wait can i use bungeecord? or no
not supported
dont others?
minehut doesn't support it due to a specific PR that md5 is way too stubborn in merging
i'm testing out my implementation rn, starting up mc
okay how do i connect one of my servers to minehut with bungee cord i dont want to change it
or without bungee cord b ut my netword is all bungee
is there minehut refunds
@wide crest
external server
yeah my implementation is working still, so i'm very confused where you're going wrong especially considering i've done everything the same as you have and i have a pebblehost dedi. if no one else has anything to add to this thread, then i would suggest making a support ticket so, if need be, it can be escalated to developers; sorry i couldn't be of much help, it's just quite an odd issue that would likely have to be looked at from devs
well don't dish more money into it until you know for sure what might be going wrong
hm?
as in you entered the stuff before doing it on your end?
i mean that shouldn't (?) be messing you up, but hey might as well try doing it last
