They want legacy ranks to be absolutely useless so you buy their monthly ranks. The only reason they gave extra ads to legacies is so that they could say "hey your money wont go to waste, your legacy ranks still get perks!"

You realize minehut porbably didn't even want to give out og ranks because it would of made them more money as people wouldn't get free monthly ads every month with their og ranks even though you can't use color codes and it's grey so it's basically invisible against colored and bolded chat ads
