I'm not going to go into major detail, although if people share the same viewpoint I can always expand and add onto their suggestions.
It's hard for me to come to terms with how overdue this update is. The forums has remained the same since from what I can recall 3-4 years if not longer. Looking at it now it seems quite inactive, you'll obviously spot the frequent post in the help/marketplace categories but even with the emphasis on support tickets these help/support posts have become less and less frequent overtime. I feel a consensus would agree with this information.
And as it was then, several years ago, the forums would generate high levels of activity from certain individuals in the community for example, Vinixs, muel, Tarna, and Jackson (who to be fair is still active) from either assisting people with questions or just making posts the community would enjoy. Unfortunately, nowadays there's no motive to use it anymore. These people have more or less moved on, including me. It is a common fact that if a platform is declining there are still things you can implement to rehabilitate it. I remember forwarding the idea when I was a Moderator and it seemed to disperse relatively quickly despite management and other Moderators understanding the state of decline.
I still see potential with it, but a lot if not everything Minehut has currently needs overhauling. What particularly bothers me is the formatting. It seems setup to fulfil the fundamental needs solely. I'd love constructive feedback on this and I will add to any ideas generated below.
