yea that is not gonna work
Could you explain how it would work
..just why
Could you explain why you don't like the idea?
I've already explained why
why
But you haven't given us any idea on how it would work
After saying it's not generic, which is what my reason was based off of.
So we really cannot come to a conclusion here
why
I would really appreciate it if you could answer my questions, rather than just repeating the phrase "why" like a child
How do you want me to answer them???
Like a human, maybe
Okay I'll explain, you get a loan for the money from your bank and use that money for credits. You eventually pay the bank back. I hope I made it clear enough.
Then they would just get their home's taken
or something worth the value of the loan
troll lol
What?
You'd also have to account for the cough intelligence of the general MH community
What exactly is the use for this? I get it's a loaning thing, but why do you want it?
free credits to never be paid off
Yep
And we've seen people whose servers got suspended just move onto a new account and repeat, so this "credit loan" thing would enable that even further
ip and hardware address banning is probably as far as a ban can go really
What kind of collateral would someone put down on a MInehut credit loan? Maybe they could put down their rank or something, but that sounds stupid.
If I did want this to be a thing, I'd probably make the collateral be suspension of the server til the loan is paid. Not everyone has their accounts linked so collateral relating to something in the panel would be better
The creator definitely planned to use this feature maliciously. Just keep on recreating accounts, unless they're linked with a card.
But that can obviously still be bypassed, since there are free services that allow you to create virtual credit cards that have a 0$ bank balance.
For example: Revolut, Privacy.com.
Just what I was thinking as well.
So I don't have people joining my server asking how to get credits for free
..what? That's your reason?
yep
