Can some one teach me how to make friends on Nintendo switch please?

you have to either meet someone in an online game, or add your real life friends through their friend code

but you get a friend on the friend list, whether it's on Discord or Switch, it doesn't meant they are actually your friends

it's just a feature to keep tracks of people

#

You don't have to have people on your Switch's friend list to have "Friends"

So I am able to make friends from in game and if they want to be friends with me they will send me a invite on switch?

Tbh this is a valid concern, the chat feature was highly requested for along while

And all other consoles have it

Yeah it's way more convenient to have something like that for general communication, not just making friends

But Nintendo opt for the app thingy instead

i can think of a few reasons why they wouldn't allow chatting. it's a console marketed for children too and you can type some pretty mean things using characters from the alphabet
