and also i can see it even when the switch is turned off.
I'm panicking really badly because it means a lot to me
I'm not sure if it's a scratch, it looks like some kind of smudge. Have you tried cleaning it?

CLEANING GUIDELINES
※ Be sure to turn off the Switch before cleaning. And wait for any excess liquid to dry before using it.
○ For daily cleaning, Nintendo recommends using a soft cloth (microfiber is best), dampen with a bit of water.
○ Use a squeeze blower or compressed air can to clean the vents on the back and the top of the Switch before wiping them.
○ If you need to disinfect or clean electrical contacts on the Switch, please use Isopropyl alcohol (IPA), commonly known as "rubbing alcohol" (but not to mistake with ethanol). Make sure IPA is 70%, you can dilute it with water. IPA 90% or higher % can cause damage to the plastic. Use q-tips for small areas, otherwise microfiber cloth, gently wipe the surfaces.
○ Electrical contacts cleaner is also a good way to clean electrical contacts on the Switch.
i did actually and it's still there idk :(
You don't have any screen protector on? Can you feel it with your hand?
I cannot say what it is, but I suspect it's something sitting in between the digitizer (the touch screen) and the LCD
Since it seems to be not an outer damage, you shouldn't worry about it
Fixing it would require replacing the screen
For now, it's best to get a screen protector though, if you value it so much

SCREEN PROTECTOR RECOMMENDATIONS
• Why should you get a Screen Protector?
The Nintendo Switch's screen is made from plastic. So the Nintendo Switch's screen can get scuffed, smudged, scratched, or even cracked. The Nintendo Switch (OLED model) has anti-scattering adhesive film to help protect the glass screen, but a screen protector is still recommended for an extra layer of protection.
※ The brand doesn't matter much since this type of product is often similar in quality across all brands. You should find one that's accessible for you and maybe with some extra benefits like anti-glare or blue light protection. Tempered glass option is often the better choice.
• Normal Switch: amFilm, iVolver , Orzly, Supershieldz
• Switch Lite: amFilm, ZAGG, Orzly
• Switch OLED: amFilm, iVoler, Supershieldz Anti-glare
