ACNH Switch Missing Game

I just traded my old switch for a Nintendo Switch Lite Timmy Tommy Alola Edition and have not seen any preloading to the ACNH game. Is it a one time use for a new console or is it preinstalled like the NSW2 MKW bundle?

I would assume that since the previous owners claimed the pre installed game to their own Nintendo account, that by connecting your own account afterwards, the copy of ACNH would be revoked

I'm not sure as I've done everything it's said online but I've received no prompts about redeeming it. It's possible it was a one-time or download code

Like I said before, the previous owners claimed the game before selling it off to you, and formatting the system or removing the original owners account removes the one-timed redeemed game

That’d be sweet if you COULD download the pre-installed game off a second hand, but that would produce infinite copies of the game unfortunately:,)

I gotcha. Much appreciated though. It would have been nice instead of having to eject and load the physical cartridge over and over

hm? Why can you just keep the cartridge in there? Oh, you mean when you want to play something else so you have to take out and in the ACNH after each switch

To be able to run two sessions at the same time, when possible, or so I don't have to save and quit and eject and load. Plus it’d linked to my account as well, I suppose
