I have been playing totk on my recently acquired switch 2 - while I am having a blast, I have to read up a lot of materials in order to get to where I want. Are there popular games on there where I can just go in and blast? I am unfortunately not into Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros.

Mario, most Kirby games (not Amazing Mirror), and the Donkey Kong Country series to name a few.
Also avoid exploration/adventure games, especially Zelda-like games and Metroid-vanias. These games you’re likely to get lost and will need a guide to avoid that
