Octopath Traveler II and Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Yeah?
I have played and did like Fire Emblem Three Houses but I'm just hesitating on Octopath cause I think it's weird that none of the characters talk to each other
Dmed ya
Ah, I see. They say short phrases to each other in battle and OT2 has a ||party banter|| mechanic where you can read the dialogue between two characters every once in a while based on who’s in your party. There’s also ||cross path|| chapters and two characters will interact with each other during that but if you’re looking for more in depth, full party interaction like in fire emblem, then yeah OT2 doesn’t have that. I’ve never played OT1 but I don’t think they really interact with each other at all in that one
Yeah I'm hoping for a character and story driven game really
The only one I know on Nintendo Switch is like something with Xenoblade amount of story and characters
But not Xenoblade please
Try the Bravely Default games. BD2 is already on the first switch and BD1 got a remake with the switch 2. I will always consider the first gae a timeless classic though. It is genuinely difficult to do better in my opinion
Dragon Quest XI is solid, the Switch version was made from the ground up for it and remains my favourite version of it, it's a very chilled out game too. Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance is also great specially if you only care about the grind and want to play something more hardcore, mind you it will run you over like a truck quite often lmao
Like above DQ11 is a top tier turn based RPG, Triangle Strategy is a very good story with tactical strategy combat. Tales of Vesperia has a decent story, character banter between party members in little skits.
Otherside of Jrpgs, Witcher 3 for an open world rpg, Skyrim,
