Chat, im getting the switch 2 today and i want to keep the totk and botw versions i have on my switch oled. Is there a way i can have totk and botw fully updated on switch 2 but not on my totk oled? (Both with same accounts btw)

Yes, i do. However when the updates for them came out recently, i did not update them on my switch oled. So my question is, is there a way i can (on my oled) play botw and totk on the version their on now? And play totk and botw on my switch 2 with their latest updates?

Alright you’ve got nothing to worry about.
The source switch keeps a copy of the data being transferred to the switch 2 system
This is only however true for games that support NSO backups
So the system will function the same after the transfer.
Nothing gets deleted. Nothing is changed, it’s essentially the same thing.
