Hi, I'm charging my joy cons at sleep mode they had low battery, charged them for maybe 20/30 min and then I check battery and it was full, took one out to start the switch in the dock for max 30 sec - even maybe 1 min and it's already a little over 50%, do I have defect joy cons?, I have barely used em, it's the light pink/ green ones.
I also wonder does the game save in cloud if I don't have Nintendo online? Or do I need to start last saving/ save the game?

Your games don't save on Cloud if you don't own Nintendo Online. Your save data is stored inside your Switch
And yes, you need to regularly save your games
