Is that normal? and if no, should I undock it from my switch? I bought a new controller, so I don't need them, I can get them fixed. I'm just worried if the constant connecting/disconnecting(is what I think is happening) will damage my switch.

Try leaving the joycons in the switch and charging them while plugged in, this might be a battery issue on the joycons, or if you’re unlucky a deeper issue in the charging capability of your switch

Thats also happening in My switch, and sometimes the joycon says it has 100% but when i take it out of the switch it says low battery
